SYNOPSIS:
What do you get when you combine Gene Simmons, the tongue-wagging demon of KISS, with Shannon Tweed, a former Playmate Of The Year? How about a loving, caring family with two normal, well-adjusted children. This A&E series, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, is full of surprises as viewers see the other side of a rich and famous rock star's life. Gene and Shannon have been happily unmarried for over 25 years and have no plans to change that arrangement any time soon. Gene is a high-powered celebrity and a multi-media magnate, but he also takes Gatorade to his daughter Sophie's soccer games and sits in the front row when his son Nick's rock band performs.     Moments away from getting his facelift, Gene receives a call telling him the KISS publicity tour has been rescheduled. While he hops a plane to New York, Aunt Tracy takes Nick on an embarrassing shopping trip to get a pregnancy test for Shannon. Shortly before a live KISS appearance on MTV's TRL, Gene realizes his Demon costume has gone missing, sending the hotel's assistant manager on a mad dash to recover 30 years of history and make sure Gene gets to his live TV show on time.

  2. Is She or Isn't She? (March 25, 2007 - 9:30pm)
    While Nick, Sophie and Aunt Tracy await the results of Shannon's pregnancy test, Gene and fellow KISS band member Paul Stanley serve as the Grand Marshals of the NYC Halloween Parade. After receiving a strange proposition from two groupies, Gene returns home to learn whether he's about to become a father again.

    A bruised and weary Shannon returns home. Nick and Sophie enlist crazy Aunt Tracy to rescue them while Gene defies doctor's orders and pushes Shannon over the edge, jeopardizing their recovery.

    In this episode, daughter Sophie is assigned to do a paper on the armed forces and Gene arranges a private tour of San Diego's Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base to aid her research. While there, some good-natured father and daughter smack-talk results as the two go head-to-head in brutal basic-training exercises. Inspired by the dedication and patriotism they witness, Gene records a new rock 'n' roll anthem for the armed forces and returns to Pendleton to perform it for the troops. Special 1 hour episode.

  11. Growing Pains (June 3, 2007 - 9:00pm)
    Under pressure from his friends, Nick decides to investigate leaving home for college.   13. British Invasion (June 17, 2007 - 9:00pm)
    Gene uses his Rock God status to throw Nick an 18th Birthday he will never forget -- a personal tour of London's musical landmarks including The Beatles' Abbey Road Studios. Another family vacation is nearly torpedoed when an overly zealous young exec from Gene's English record label attempts to turn their holiday into a publicity tour. Gene and Nick do some father/son bonding while recording on the same sacred ground where the Stones, Hendrix and Led Zeppelin recorded their masterworks.
  14. Rich Dad (July 15, 2007 - 9:00pm)
    Gene is hurt to learn that Sophie never informed him of a Father/Daughter Volleyball game, not realizing that she just didn't want to bother him and his busy schedule. While in Las Vegas Gene mistakenly agrees to help a mother and son out with their family business -- the oldest strip club in town. Gene rushes home to surprise Sophie and prove that he values family above all else.
  15. Alpha Male (July 22, 2007 - 9:00pm)
    Sophie decides she wants the family to go camping for her birthday.
  16. Sucker Bet (July 29, 2007 - 9:00pm)
    Gene muscles in on Shannon and Aunt Tracy's girls weekend to the Kentucky Derby, promising to prove he too can be fun and spontaneous. After a hotel mishap causes them to relive their youth and once again live together, Gene quickly wishes he had stayed behind. Originally uninterested in the race, Gene's attention quickly turns to the Derby when he learns Tracy convinced Shannon to bet $100,000 on a horse she picked using her "fool proof" system.
  17. And They're Off (July 29, 2007 - 9:30pm)
    In a panic over Shannon's $100,000 bet on a horse she knows nothing about Gene frantically tries to sell her ticket at a discount to anyone he comes in contact with, including: Jenny McCarthy, Peyton Manning, Kid Rock, Jimmy Fallon, Joey Fatone and more. Unsuccessful, he has no choice but sit helplessly and watch his money race in "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports." Meanwhile, news of Shannon's bet makes news headlines, even eclipsing the Queen of England's first visit to the Derby.
  18. Trapped in Paradise (August 5, 2007 - 9:30pm)
    A "one day" trip to the tropical paradise of Turks & Caicos becomes an extended stay in hell for Gene who loathes sun, sand and water. While continually being blown off by Turk's Premier, Gene is forced to enjoy the "local flavor" with the Secretary of Tourism in hopes of greasing the wheels and closing a multi-million dollar deal to bring an Indy car race to the Caribbean.
  19. Genetopia (August 12, 2007 - 9:30pm)
    Upset that Gene would not let her accompany him to Turks & Caicos, Shannon decides to have some fun of her own and tags along to watch one of Aunt Tracy's "Speed Dating" sessions. Tracy thinks she has makes a match but quickly learns her date is using her to get to Shannon who, as we all know, is technically single. While stuck in the tropical paradise of Turks & Caicos, Gene toys with the idea of buying his own island. Modestly naming it "Genetopia," he sets out to create a kingdom that will live by HIS rules. Meanwhile, Shannon is besieged by gifts from her "not-so-secret" admirer.
  20. Fact or Fiction ? (August 19, 2007 - 9:00pm)
    Gene takes a lie-detector test to prove whether stories of his sexual exploits are true or false.
  21. It Was A Very Good Year (August 26, 2007 - 9:30pm)
    The family reminisces about Season II and shows unseen deleted scenes from their favorite episodes
"Jewels" did even better in its second season than in its first, leaping by 15 percent in total viewers to a 1.5 million average and climbing by 11 percent in adults 18 to 49 and by 8 percent in adults 25 to 54.
