Ace Frehley to play The Big E

Want to rock 'n' roll all night this fall? Plan on heading to The Big E on Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

That's when original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley, will take the stage at the Big E's xfinity arena,

As the original lead guitarist of KISS, Frehley left his mark on numerous hit records.

From his persona as the "Spaceman" in KISS to his well-received solo work, Frehley has clearly taken audiences to other worlds. Through hard rocking songs and a spectacular stage show, KISS rose to international stardom, racking up multi-platinum records and sold out concerts around the globe. Frehley's guitar work played a major role in that ascension, to say the least.

The guitarist left the group in the early 1980s, later rejoining KISS for a reunion tour and the band's supposed Farewell Tour. Later, he resumed his solo career.

In 2014, the original lineup of KISS was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
