VIDEO: Gene Simmons Reflects on Emotional Trip to Africa
(theinsider.com) Chronicled in his A&E reality series, Gene Simmons Family Jewels,
Kiss front man Gene Simmons recently traveled to Zambia, Africa to meet
some of the more than 140 children he sponsors through ChildFund, and
the trip was admittedly, a life-changer.
"A child is not a toy," explains Gene. "We have six dogs, two cats…You need to put in the time and the effort and be there... It's just not the right time for us to physically adopt, but that doesn't mean we can't save children."

Thank you Gene and all the caring people who help to alleviate some of the suffering in this unfair world.
ReplyDeleteI am a single mom and not wealthy by any means, but we can all do our part. My son is currently doing great work helping in Zimbabwe, and I donate cash and time to several African-centered charities including Mothers Without Borders (that is currently building a school in Zambia). It's so important that we each do all we can to help others, especially children.
