KISS Fans Brave The Rain to Get Concert Tickets
(Castanet.com - by Ragnar Haggen) Dozens of people braved a light rain this morning while they stood outside Prospera Place for their chance to see KISS play live in Kelowna.
The weather did little to dampen the mood for many who have never had the chance to see original members Starchild (Paul Stanley) and The Demon (Gene Simmons) perform, along with current members Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer.
Craig Campbell is the Marketing and Communications Manager at Prospera Place, and he says people were lined up before 8 a.m. Friday morning in order to get the perfect seat.
“There is a lot of hype around this show. It’s probably one of the biggest shows this summer in the Okanagan.”
KISS officially comes to town July 8, along with special guests Shinedown. Ticket prices range from $90 - $126 and it will be an all-ages show.
