Gene Simmons to Guest Star on CSI

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Mr. Gene Simmons have a gust starring role in the long running police drama CSI, this season. Simmons will be playing himself in the role.

“We're really excited to have Gene Simmons guest-starring on CSI, playing himself in a rock-and-roll-themed murder mystery," said executive producers Don McGill and Carol Mendelsohn in a joint statement.

Gene Simmons will appear in the 17th episode of the season, currently scheduled to air on March 12, 2014.

Previously, Simmins has appeared in the dramas THIRD WATCH, UGLY BETTY and CASTLE.

CSI is broadcast on Wednesday nights, at 10:00 p.m. eastern time, on CBS.
