Ace Frehley Says Reconnecting With KISS Bandmates Has Been Fun
Former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley is no longer on Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons' s--t list, and even if his renewed kinship with his former bandmates doesn't lead to a reunion in KISS, Frehley says it's been satisfying.
Frehley's return to good graces with Stanley and Simmons has been chronicled before. Stanley provided guest vocals on Frehley's Origins Vol. 1 album. Simmons and Frehley co-wrote two songs for the KISS bassist's upcoming solo album.
Simmons and Frehley also took the stage together in the fall at a Hurricane Harvey relief event in Minneapolis.
"And just a couple of weeks ago, I was with Gene, he invited me to come up to Los Angeles because he was doing an event for 'The Vault', and he wanted me to come up and perform with him," Frehley told SILive.com. "And we exchanged some great stories. We had a lot of fun."
The guitarist has also been confirmed as one of the headliners on this fall's KISS Kruise VIII.
