It was announced that Gene Simmons marketing Firm, Simmons Abramson Marketing, will handle the marketing, event, public relations, sponsorship, merchandising and branding efforts for the Indy Racing League (IRL). The Theme song 'I Am INDY' was co-writen by Simmons and BAG.
